I am a Core Surgical Trainee based in Edinburgh. I became interested in global health while completing an MSc in Clinical Engineering focusing on appropriate healthcare technology design, during which I spent some time working in Uganda. I was inspired to change careers and study medicine, and my passion for global health continued as a medical student and foundation trainee, completing the DTMH and volunteering to provide healthcare for people on the move at European borders.
