Join a Working Group

 

 

The Innovation Working Group is led by the Innovation and Technology Rep, and is responsible for organising the annual ‘Frugal Innovation Skills Course’.

 

This is in collaboration with Will Bolton (Course Director & previous GASOC Innovation Rep & President), ASiT, The Med Tech Foundation, Lifebox and the RCS Edinburgh.

 

The Working Group is also responsible for maintaining and updating the GASOC Frugal Innovation Hub, in collaboration with the Webmaster, and should assist the VRiMS Rep in the organisation of VRiMS events when required. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Group to develop ideas that will attract international GASOC members and enable involvement in activities.

 

Formed group will then form projects and advocacy strategies appropriate for local objectives.

To engage with Royal Colleges and Health Education England (and NHS England as now re-joined) to improve trainees’ voice in curriculum design, execution and evaluation of activities and initiatives related to global health in resource-poor settings.

 

To engage with international reps to encourage multi-directional partnerships.

Led by the Research and Advocacy Representative, this WG will mobilise GASOC members to design and implement research projects while looking out for opportunities for research collaboration with relevant partners globally.

 

This WG supports the activities of International Engagement and Advocacy WG by providing robust, policy-relevant primary and secondary evidence.
